U10 Program

EXPERT COACHING AND PROVEN METHODS TO START YOUR SOCCER JOURNEY THE RIGHT WAY.

Players in the U10 Pre-Competitive Program begin to compete regionally against other soccer clubs from Eugene, Salem, and Bend to give our players their first experience against outside competition.

This 8-month commitment for our U10 teams includes two 8-game league seasons (Mid July-Mid Nov. & Feb.-May) with 2 practices per week as well as possible friendly games and tournaments during these timeframes.

Based on ability, work ethic, and availability, U10 players may be invited to play in special tournaments or events that combine the top players from each community program as the group prepares to make the move to our U11 Competitive program the following year. During the seasonal year, some U10 players may also have the opportunity to train and play up with our U11 teams.

Location:

Corvallis: Ashbrook Elementary with other secondary locations at Crystal Lake Sports Fields, G3 Sports and Fitness, Crescent Valley High School (based on weather and field conditions)
Albany: Mid-Willamette Family YMCA

Ages: 8-9

Cost: $875 (annual cost)

Registration Deadline: Open year round!

Tryout Registration

U10 Pre-Competitive Registration: 25-26 Season

Our U10 Pre-Competitive Tryout teams participate in training twice a week and Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) leagues. This program is designed to help recreational players or players with little experience prepare to participate with our competitive teams starting at the U11 age group.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Registration for OVF Alliance is broken up into 2 parts:

Part 1: Register for Tryouts

The basic information needed for the Tryout Camp is collected in this initial step, along with a $15 tryout camp fee. Failing to register before 3pm on the day of the camp (5/21) will result in an additional $10 fee to cover extra administration expenses.

Part 2: Accept a Team Position

Once the camp is over, you will receive a team acceptance email which will open the second half of registration for you to complete and then to either pay the Player Fee in full or begin a payment plan.

TRYOUT CAMP INFORMATION:

You MUST complete the pre-registration step before your player is allowed to participate in the OVF Alliance Tryout Camp. This Tryout Camp is held only once a year in May, and is designed to help kids know what to expect when attending true tryouts for competitive teams in the future.
